DNA from cell lines

ECACC provides high molecular weight genomic DNA  from authenticated cell lines. All DNA products are supplied at a standard 5μg at a concentration of 100ng/μl 

Custom DNA Extraction: DNA can be prepared in varying quantities and concentrations from cell lines in the ECACC collection or from your own cell lines and blood samples as part of our Human Genetic Services or contact us culturecollections@ukhsa.gov.uk.

How to handle DNA on receipt

DNA products are supplied frozen. Please consult the data sheet which accompanies the delivery; these sheets contain information about how the DNA should be handled and stored. We recommend that frozen DNA products be stored at -20°C until use  Avoid freeze thawing.

On receipt of your DNA order ECACC recommends the following:

Before use, centrifuge to collect the DNA at the bottom of the tube or the well.
