This strain is known to carry two plasmids; pSEN-DRC (NCBI GenBank: CP063706.1) and pRSF1010 (NCBI Genbank: CP063707.1). This strain is resistant to ampicillin, tetracycline, chloramphenicol, streptomycin and kanamycin. This strain is a representative strain of the Central/Eastern African clade of S. Enteritidis.
