Subculture Routine

Cells grow in islands and maximum confluency is approximately 80%. Split culture when approx. 50% confluent, using 0.05% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA and incubate until cell sheet peels off. Seed new culture at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm².


Recommended growth conditions 5% CO2; 37°C.

Culture Medium

EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 20% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
