A human ovarian epithelial-serous carcinoma cell line established from a metastasis of the sigmoid colon. This cell line was derived from the same patient as the ovarian cell line COV413B (ECACC cat no. 07071906).

Subculture Routine

Split confluent cultures 1:4 to 1:10 i.e. seeding at 2-4x10,000 cells/cm² using trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO₂; 37°C. The cell line does not become confluent and may take up to 14 days to achieve a level suitable for subculture post resuscitation.
